The Creative Development Program through Painting "My World’s Image" took place, for the first time, in the Standard Schools "Taxiarchis". Its completion was highlighted by a wonderful feast, in which all children paintings were presented.
The paintings exhibition had as a goal to inspire the enthusiasm and the self-esteem of the children, for the art they created. The parents had the chance to make a tour around the exhibition and admire the way that children can communicate and express their feelings through art.
The paintings of the children truly travelled us in a world full of colors, shapes, images and materials, creations that most of all were coming from their hearts.
I would like to thank very much all the students for their love and enthusiasm, the remarkable educators for their support and the parents for their trust in the program!
The collaboration of all parts is significant, so as to support the children to continue learning, expressing themselves, creating and dreaming.
“Knowing thyself” (gnothi sauton) is the actual getting to knowing ourselves. Its true essence lies in caring for the soul, self-awareness, awareness of our skills, abilities and potential. It helps us understand the way we could act in order to gain the real self-awareness.
